Muppets Most Wanted! Paper Puppet Craft + Movie Review

The next big thing - the Muppets' new movie Muppets Most Wanted has hit theatres everywhere!

I had the chance to attend a pre-screening a short time before the movie opened, which was pretty exciting!

Movie Synopsis:
Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais.

The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.

My thoughts:
If you're a Muppets fan, you'll really seeing all those goofy Muppets back on stage putting on a show!

I appreciated that the movie definitely was clean, without even any potty-talk I often see in kid movies today. The characters are hilarious as usual!! There's your typical Muppet-antics going on, and the eternal love affair between Piggy and Kermie which we all enjoyed!

I did think it ran a bit long for the younger crowd (nearly 2 hours long), and some of the pop culture references I didn't even catch so I'm sure they'd be over the little kids' heads. But besides that, there's plenty of giggles for everyone, and the kids I sat with enjoyed the show!

Muppet Craft!
And now, a craft for you to do with the kids either before or after going to see Muppets Most Wanted!!

This Muppets Paper Bag Puppet Craft is easy to do and kids can have a lot of fun trying different looks for their character! Would make a great Muppet Party activity! (Click here to get the full PDF for printing!)

I was provided free admission to the prescreening event in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own!
