We can all remember the dry, tasteless days of our parents' fiber cereal. As we sat eating our sugar bombs, we wondered why people would ever eat that kind of stuff. I called it cardboard cereal.
But then you grow up and realize that having good fiber in your diet is healthy. But who wants to choke down flavorless cereals?
I was tentative to try out Kellogg's new FiberPlus cereals, but boy, was I surprised.
This is NOT your grandmother's fiber! My favorite was Kellogg's FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch. It's like a really yummy granola. You wouldn't even know there was extra fiber in it. And bonus: there's also antioxidant vitamins like C and E!
The cereal has a fantastic crunchy texture, a yummy berry sweetness, and holds up well in milk (not soggy!). I would often eat a small bowl for dessert while watching television after dinner!
Kellogg's FiberPlus Cinnamon Oat Crunch was also very good - just like an O's cereal with a little sweet and cinnamony taste! Definitely delicious as well.
I think nobody has to go back to tasteless, boring bran flakes to get enough fiber. Kellogg's new FiberPlus cereals are definitely my recommendation!
